To achieve the best print quality and a smooth, high-shine appearance, please follow these design guidelines for glossy business cards before submitting your artwork.

File Setup

  • Preferred file formats: PDF, AI, EPS, or high-resolution JPG/PNG

  • Color mode: CMYK (RGB files will be converted for print)

  • Resolution: Minimum 300 DPI for all images

  • Bleed: 3 mm on all sides

  • Safe margin: Keep important text and logos at least 3 mm inside the trim area

Size & Layout

  • Standard size: 90 × 55 mm (or selected custom size)

  • Orientation: Landscape or portrait

  • Corner options: Sharp or rounded (avoid placing text close to rounded edges)

Color & Design Tips for Glossy Cards

  • Glossy paper enhances vibrant and rich colors

  • Ideal for designs with photos, gradients, and bold graphics

  • Use strong contrast between text and background for readability

  • Avoid minimal, low-ink, or mostly white designs

  • Highly reflective surfaces may reduce readability under very bright lighting

Text & Fonts
